San Diego takes first step toward $25 minimum wage for tourism workers
San Diego City Council voted to support moving forward on a proposal to increase minimum wage to $25 per hour for tourism workers. City staff is now drafting the ordinance that is expected to be in front of the committee this summer and on to a vote of the full Council.
