However, there is another budget deficit that the CRA continues to push lawmakers to address. The state's Unemployment Insurance (UI) Fund is now $20 billion dollars in debt. The required repayment of the debt has resulted in automatic tax increases on employers, and now Senate Bill 1116 would only add to those employer costs.
